dearest thea, please come to our house for radishes and beets anytime. just call ahead, and i will zip out and find the best the bay area has to offer. it would be an honor and a treat...
Really very gorgeous anyway, but the blue demi-tasses were a stroke of botanical as well as painterly intuition of the first order. Our Russian radishes are magnificent this year in Virginia, and if you're going to go Winter Palace on us, you must accept a handful. That's one, by the way. Two if by air. :)
brilliant laurent, going all Winter Palace sounds too wonderful for words. i humbly accept the radishes & treasure the vision of said Palace. we feast!
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat time is dinner?
And what are you serving?
I made Joel Robuchon's Boeuf Bourguignon the other night for some friends and it was delicious (I've made it before).
Cheers!
