raindrops the size of silver dollars soon became hail.
(hail, not small, lasted half hour. simple. magic on a
summer day in zurich. just snow like. then sun.)

    We got caught at the Offenburg, Germany bahnhof in rain storm with drops as big as saucers.

    Those have entered our family lexicon.

    ie. "Those are Offenberg drops"
