This post really meant a lot to my father. I sent it to him and see that he was moved by it. His father is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, a decorated Colonel in the Marine Corps. Sadly, his father passed when mine was only 11 years old. In his honor, my father served in the Marine Corps. They share this bond over the expanse; I am in awe of it.
