serendipity, from what i understand, implies accidental discovery (to some extent, correct?). and it's a nifty idea, but i'm not sure i believe in it. i tend to believe there are no coincidences. that we still get to choose, but things don't ever really happen by coincidence. it's all as it needs to be.
