    Hey Victoria, I love Edward Ardizzone. My mum read me all the "Tims" when I was a kid and I bought my son some of them in repro form. Ardizzone has A Child's Christmas in Wales too. Great.

    Keep digging for Ardizzone material.
    Edward Ardizzone championed a certain style of illustration which is simple, effective and portrays a realistic and moderate attitude to life.
